Physical DescriptionA four-masted schooner ship model. The ship's hull and square mainsails are made of polished wood. The model is mounted within a wood and glass case.
Historical NoteThis model was presented to President Roosevelt by the maker, Walter Scott of Menlo Park, California, on December 27, 1941.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 2, 1942. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
