Artifact Collection: Gifts and Commemorative Artifacts

This series is comprised of miscellaneous small groupings of materials whose subject matter do not fall into the larger series categories within this collection. The majority of items in this series are gifts to Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt from heads of state, political and industrial leaders, artists and entertainers, and the general public, as well as items of more recent vintage given directly to the Roosevelt Library. These materials include, but are not limited to, textiles; tableware such as china, glassware, and silverware; smoking-related materials; commemorative pieces and relics; firearms and weapons; furniture; awards; medals and medallions; plaques; jewelry; non-political buttons and badges; non-naval models; and sculptures and figurines.
