DescriptionA cream-colored American Special Delivery stamp cover. The envelope is addressed to (typed): Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt, President, / United States of America, / White House, / Washington, D.C. The return address is printed in the upper left corner: CONSUMER'S PARTY, INC. / 658 SOUTH MAIN STREET / AKRON, OHIO. "Special Delivery" is both stamped and handwritten on the envelope. Adhered in the upper right corner of the envelope are three stamps: two U.S. 1933 blue 5¢ Kosciuszko issue stamps (A235); and one U.S. 1933 violet 3¢ National Recovery Administration issue stamp (A233). The envelope is postmarked Akron, Ohio, December 14 [1933].
The reverse of the envelope is postmarked Special Delivery, Washington, DC, December 15, 1933.
