DescriptionA pressed metal piece, possibly from the 1940 campaign of Franklin D. Roosevelt, intended for attachment to an automobile license plate or bumper. On a red background, bordered in blue, is the name "ROOSEVELT" in large, silver light-reflecting letters. Each letter has a series of raised bumps and is outlined in blue. The manufacturer is not indicated but is likely the Gotham Pressed Steel Corp. of New York.
