DescriptionA black and white linoleum block print depicting women working in a sewing room operated by a Works Progress Administration (WPA) adult education project in Enid, Oklahoma. Written in ink under the print in the lower left: W.P.A. Sewing Room. The artist's original ink signature and the date are below image in the lower right: Eva Rawlins, 1939.
Label TextThis print was created for the Oklahoma Art Project, Federal Art Project, Works Progress Administration. This is one of three identical prints (MO 1998.21.1-3) sent to Eleanor Roosevelt by the artist (an art instructor) in March 1939.
