DescriptionAn original black and white cartoon featuring Franklin D. Roosevelt's Scottish terrier dog, Fala. The cartoon is of an outdoor scene showing Fala looking out through the White House fence at a dog on the other side seated next to a rolling trash barrel marked "D.S.C." against which a broom is leaning. The dome of the U.S. Capitol is visible in the background. The artist's signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: ALAN FOSTER. The caption is handwritten in blue below the cartoon: "HAS YOUR DEPARTMENT PICKED UP ANY NEW RUMORS?". The cartoon sheet has several publication notes written in pencil including the number "8254".
