DescriptionA printed one dollar promissory note, No. 91. “On demand I Promise to Pay the bearer ONE DOLLAR In trade or Bankable Bills." Dated and signed in ink: Hyde Park July 14, 1837 / John Caller. The note was printed and sold by H. J. Winslow, 89 Nassau St., New York.

At the top center of the note is an engraved image of a woman, seated on shore on an anchor, with a sailing ship at sea in the background.

The reverse is blank.
