DescriptionA pair of decorated leather and silver spurs. The hand tooled leather and worked silver on the spurs feature flower and leaf designs. On one side of each shank is seen the image of a cowboy on a horse and the initials FDR. On the inside of the right spur is the inscription: TO / PRESIDENT / FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT / FROM / ROY ROGERS / JANUARY 30 1943. The maker's information is stamped into the leather on the interior of each strap: BOHLINMADE / CALIF. / HOLLYWOOD.
