DescriptionA round pinback memorial picture button. At the center is a black and white photographic image of Franklin D. Roosevelt encircled by a black border. Attached to the reverse of the button is a length of black ribbon that hangs down below the button.
Label TextFranklin D. Roosevelt's sudden death on April 12, 1945 stunned the nation. Americans created a variety of tributes to their fallen President, this memorial button being one such example.
