Roosevelt (“FDR”) standing in front of a dresser and looking into a mirror above it, while on the floor around him is a trunk and various suitcases, one of which is open. FDR is wearing a large Blackfeet headdress, above which is the text “’LONE CHIEF’ OF THE BLACKFEET.” In the room with FDR is the National Recovery Administration (NRA) “BLUE EAGLE” perched on a stand, at the base of which is a pile of feathers (labeled “PUBLIC FAVOR”) which have all fallen off the eagle’s body. The artist’s signature is in the lower left corner: “CECIL JENSEN.”
