DescriptionA white Westerly granite bust of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The bust is mounted on a base of black Swedish granite which is inscribed: FRANKLIN DELANO / ROOSEVELT / 1882-1945 / PRESENTED BY THE / INTERNATIONAL / LADIES' GARMENT / WORKERS' UNION / 1947. The artist's name is inscribed on the left side of the bust, in the lower right: GLEB DERUJINSKY.
Label TextThis granite bust of Franklin Roosevelt by Gleb W. Derujinsky was presented to the Roosevelt Library in 1947 by The International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union. It is on display on the grounds of the Roosevelt Library and Museum in the Courtyard.
