DescriptionA doily embroidered by Eleanor Roosevelt. The round white linen doily has a scalloped edge outlined with white embroidery. Embroidered in a circle on the doily is a delicate chain of white and pink flowers with green stems and foliage.
Label TextUpon presenting this needlework doily to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library in 1948, Mrs. Eleanor stated it was made "many years ago."
