DescriptionA red, white, and blue campaign neckerchief, likely from Franklin Roosevelt's 1940 campaign. At the center of the neckerchief's red background is a blue-bordered white circle with large red letters reading "FDR" crossed horizontally by a blue band with white text that reads "CARRY ON." Surrounding the circle are quotes from various FDR speeches. In each corner of the neckerchief is a blue triangle with three red stars Two of the diagonally opposing triangles also have an illustration of a donkey, and the other two triangles have the words: WE / ROOSEVELT / WANT.
Label TextThis neckerchief was given to Eleanor Roosevelt by Barry D. Eisenstein of the Glensder Textile Company, New York, NY.
