DescriptionA red felt fez, size 7 7/8, for the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA). Embroidered in yellow, gray, blue, and green on the front of the fez: “AHEPA / [APHEA emblem] / No. 25.” Hanging from the top of the fez is a 17 ½” long blue and white tassel.
The interior of the hat has a brown leather sweatband and includes the size stamped in yellow and “ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΑΣ ΜΕΝΟH ΕΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΙ” [MANUFACTURED IN GREECE] stamped in black.
Label TextFranklin D. Roosevelt became an AHEPA member, Delphi Chapter 25, in 1932. This was his fez.The interior of the hat has a brown leather sweatband and includes the size stamped in yellow and “ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΑΣ ΜΕΝΟH ΕΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΙ” [MANUFACTURED IN GREECE] stamped in black.
