DescriptionAn unpainted wood rocker-style ink blotter with a knob handle. Carved into the top surface of the blotter – on either side of the knob – are the initials "E R" painted in gold. The knob unscrews, releasing tension on the used piece of blotting paper (included) and allowing it to be removed and replaced. The initials of the maker, "JHL", are carved into one of the short sides of the blotter.
Label TextThis blotter was used by Eleanor Roosevelt on her desk at the White House.
