DescriptionA pair of unused, light brown cotton socks with "ROOSEVELT" woven vertically into the legs. The socks have a dark brown cuff, heel, toe. Thin horizontal bands of red and blue are just under the cuff. The maker's name is in red on the bottom of the arch: Coopers / MERCERIZED LISLE COTTON / AND RAYON. A black and gold sticker on the toe of one sock reads: Coppers / Quality / 11½.

The two socks are attached together at the cuffs with a black, red, and white cardstock tag. One side of the tag reads: Coopers / MAKERS / OF THE FAMOUS / Jockey / UNDERWEAR / UNDERWEAR / HOISERY / KENOSHA / WIS. The other side of the tag reads: Coopers / HOSE / for / MEN / MADE IN U.S.A. / KENOSHA / WIS.
