DescriptionA pair of bookends featuring the Liberty Bell. Made of burwood, a wood/plastic composite, each of the identical bookends has a reproduction of the cracked Liberty Bell within a wood-look surround. Raised wording on the front of the bell reads: PROCLAIM LIBERTY / BY ORDER OF THE ASSEM / PASS AND STOW / PHILADA / MDCCLIII.
A partially worn manufacturer's label on the reverse of one of the bookends reads: GENUINE / BURWOOD / MFG. BY / BURWOOD / PRODUCTS / COMPANY.
