DescriptionA square emblem, evidently meant to be worn as a campaign button (though there no longer is a pin) for political rivals Franklin Roosevelt and Thomas Dewey. The square is divided into horizontal thirds of red (top), white (center), and blue (bottom) with black text that currently reads: ELECT / ROOSEVELT / PRESIDENT.
The center section consists of a cutout frame beneath which is a movable piece of paper on which is printed both ROOSEVELT and DEWEY. The strip may be moved up or down, displaying either candidate's name depending on the wearer's political preference.
