DescriptionA Franklin Roosevelt campaign pin, possibly from the 1944 campaign. Suspended from a gold-colored safety pin is a cardstock cutout of a folded brown shirt. A strip of off-white paper is wrapped around the shirt, and a message printed in black text on the front reads: Our Shirt for / Roosevelt. Printed on the back of the strip, along with a New York union bug, is the text: Joint Board Shirt / Workers Union / A.C.W. of A. A short length of red, white, and blue woven ribbon is looped through the safety pin and stapled on the back of the shirt.
