DescriptionA round pinback button from Franklin Roosevelt's campaign. The blue button has white text that reads: 3rd. A paper label for the manufacturer is inserted into the reverse side.
Label TextFDR’s decision to seek a third term in 1940 generated strong feelings on both sides of the debate. This campaign button is on display in the A THIRD TERM? exhibit in the Museum’s NEW DEAL gallery.
