DescriptionA round pinback campaign coat-tail button. The button has a white band around the edge and a blue center which extends out partially on the sides into the white band. Blue and white text reads: VOTE FOR / CLARK / ROOSEVELT / WILSON / AND / ENTIRE DEMOCRATIC TICKET. The manufacturer's information is printed along the bottom edge and on the paper insert on the reverse.
Label TextThis 1932 campaign button features presidential candidate Franklin Roosevelt, Colonel Bennett C. Clark, the Democratic Party's successful candidate for the U.S. Senate from Missouri, and Francis M. Wilson, the the Democratic Party’s candidate for governor of Missouri. When Wilson died in October 1932 he was replaced on the Democratic ticket by Guy B. Park, who won the election.
