Garrett PriceAmerican, 1897 - 1979
Illustrator and cartoonist Garrett Price studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and worked at the "Kansas City Star" and "Chicago Tribune" before beginning a half century association with "The New Yorker" magazine. Price served in the U.S. Navy during World War I and contributed artwork to Navy publications during that conflict.
