America's 250th - Celebrating Our 32nd President

On January 30 we celebrate the 144th anniversary of Franklin Roosevelt’s birth. FDR is among the select group of 45 men who have served as President of the United States since our Nation’s founding. He holds a place in an unbroken line of leaders that stretches back to George Washington, who took the oath of office as our first President on April 30, 1789.

To mark this anniversary, we present a varied group of depictions of the President in different media. They are among hundreds in our collections created by professional artists and everyday Americans.
