This series contains stamp materials, coins, medals, currency, short-snorters, and tokens. The majority of the collection is comprised of gift items to Franklin D. Roosevelt during his lifetime, as well as to the Roosevelt Library following Roosevelt's death in 1945. Also included are items personally collected and used by Roosevelt. Stamp items consist of foreign and United States postage stamps, stamp covers, philatelic cards, stamp albums, stamp collecting instruments, and non-postal stamps. The items in this series relate to a variety of countries and topics and are from a wide time period.
