DescriptionA long, low wood sled made of stained and varnished pine. The wooden runners on either side of the sled are faced with metal strips. Attached to the front of the sled is a rope for pulling.

Two thin wooden base pieces have been attached to the underside of the sled, presumably for display purposes.
Label TextThis sled was used by John Aspinwall Roosevelt (Franklin D. Roosevelt's uncle) to transport supplies to his ice yacht, the ICICLE.
