DescriptionA black and white campaign tour flier. The flier features a black and white half-tone photographic portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt at the center. Text above and below the image reads: “WELCOME TO BROOKLYN PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT / MONDAY MORNING, OCT. 28th 1940 [year written in pencil] / AT 10 O'CLOCK / THE PRESIDENT WILL ARRIVE IN BROOKLYN AT 10 A. M. AT THE 39TH STREET FERRY. / His motor caravan will pass through 39th Street to 4th Avenue to Prospect Avenue to Hamilton Avenue to Rapelye Street to Van Brunt Street to Seabring Street to Columbia Street to Lorraine Street to Clinton Street to West 9th Street to 4th Avenue to Flatbush Avenue to Flatbush Avenue Extension to Manhattan Bridge.”

There is an IPEU union bug number “380” in the lower right corner of the photo, and an Allied Printing union bug number “42” at the bottom of the flier. Also at the bottom of the flier is the printer’s information: “PRESS OF COLLISON & KLINGMAN, INC.”
