DescriptionA color poster featuring a large graphic illustration of a pilot’s head. The profile image shows the pilot wearing a helmet and goggles. Overlaying the top of the portrait are the illustrations of two downward-facing airplanes, each with the Civil Air Patrol logo on one wing. The artist’s facsimile signature is in the upper right corner: “KENNEY, SQUADRON 511-3.” White, blue, and black text on and below the illustration states: “Eyes of the Home Skies / CIVIL AIR PATROL OF THE U. S. OFFICE OF CIVILIAN DEFENSE." Also included with the text are the logos of the U.S. Office of Civilian Defense and the Civil Air Patrol. Additional small text along the bottom of the poster reads: "OCD Publication No. 7013 / U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE : 1943—0-503140.”
