DescriptionA poster promoting a water safety program in Washington, DC. The poster was issued by the D.C. Chapter of the American Red Cross in cooperation with the D.C. Community Center Playground Dept. and the Welfare and Recreational Association. On an off-white background, the poster features six black and white photographic images of men and women involved in water-based activities and receiving water safety training in and out of the water. At the center of the poster, in red and blue text, is a schedule of training locations and times, the benefits of enrolling in the course, and general information about the program.
