DescriptionA color poster featuring an illustrated map of North Africa. The map shows the region's major cities and the movement of ships, planes, and ground forces moving west starting October 23rd, 1942 through to May 7th, 1943. Each of the highlighted dates has a short description of what occurred. May 7, 1943 is captioned in a larger box with text that reads: TUNIS AND BIZERTA / CAPTURED / EGYPT TO TUNISIA / 1,700 Miles in 28 weeks. It is followed by a list of casualties, both in troops and equipment.
