DescriptionA color poster promoting wartime discretion. The poster features an illustration of an oversized hand, covered with newsprint about a U.S. ship that was sunk, pointing towards a small figure of a man walking towards the right side of the poster. Orange text across the top of the poster reads: Someone Talked! A handwritten ink inscription in the lower left of the illustration reads: To President Franklin Roosevelt / from Artists for Victory / J. Scott Williams [signature] / Irwin D. Hoffman [signature]. The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the illustration: Koerner.
