The poster features a large head and chest illustrated color portrait of General Douglas MacArthur in his U.S. Army uniform. Label TextPresident Roosevelt created the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs during World War II to counter Italian and German propaganda in Latin America and promote political, economic, and cultural ties with the United States. He appointed Nelson Rockefeller as the Coordinator.
