DescriptionA Portuguese language poster promoting inter-American solidarity during World War II. At the center of the poster is a large color photographic image of two uniformed gunners, each manning a gun inside a B-24 Liberator bomber. Label TextPresident Roosevelt created the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs during World War II to counter Italian and German propaganda in Latin America and promote political, economic, and cultural ties with the United States.
