DescriptionA text-based campaign flier. On reddish-orange paper, the flier’s black text starts with: “VOTE FOR America’s Great Peace Leader FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT / Only One Peace is Honorable, or Possible, for the U.S.A. A Non-Appeasement PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH –The Peace That Roosevelt Stands For.” The flier goes on to state “These are the Facts:” followed by several paragraphs describing FDR’s efforts towards peace along with a quote by him. At the bottom of the flier is additional text that reads: “For the Preservation of Democracy PUT YOUR TRUST IN PROVEN WISDOM AND EXPERIENCE / Re-Elect ROOSEVELT / Democratic National Committee.” Union bug number "271" is in the lower left corner of the flier.
