DescriptionA color poster featuring an illustration of an American soldier carrying a fallen comrade over his shoulders and holding a rifle in his left hand. In the background is a fiery scene strewn with rubble. Yellow and white text across the top of the image reads: WE CAUGHT HELL! / -someone must have talked. At the bottom of the poster is a wide white band with red text that states: ★ SILENCE MEANS SECURITY ★. Small black text printed along the bottom edge of the poster reads: W.D., A.G.O. "Hell" Security Poster. Additional copies may be requisitioned as prescribed in AR 310-200, 1 May 1943, as changed by Changes No. 2, 15 September 1943.
