DescriptionAn original black and white cartoon featuring Franklin D. Roosevelt's Scottish terrier dog, Fala. The cartoon is of an outdoor scene showing Fala seated in front of a doghouse with his name on it, a bone on a plate resting nearby. He is talking to a group of dogs outside of the White House fence. The artist's signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: ALAN FOSTER. The caption is handwritten in pencil below the cartoon: "FRANKLY, GENTLEMEN, I HAVEN'T DECIDED YET ABOUT RENEWING MY LEASE." The cartoon sheet has several publication notes written in pencil including the number "7693".
