DescriptionA poster promoting wartime discretion. The color poster features an illustration on the left side of a drowning sailor with just a hand visible, reaching out above the water, while the sailor's uniform hat floats nearby. A text block over the illustration reads: . . . don't talk about troop movements! / . . . don't talk about war production! The artist's facsimile signature is in the lower left corner of the illustration: ALBERT DORNE. On the right side of the poster, on blue and white backgrounds, is white and brown text that says: SOMEBODY BLABBED / BUTTON YOUR LIP!
