DescriptionAn original black and white cartoon featuring Franklin D. Roosevelt's Scottish terrier dog, Fala. The cartoon is an outdoor scene showing Fala sitting on grass in front of his doghouse and by shrubbery with the dome of the U.S. Capitol visible on the other side. Fala is looking up at squadrons of American military aircraft are flying overhead. The artist's signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: A. S. FOSTER. The caption is handwritten in pencil below the cartoon: More bad news for those Jap "hospitals" and "grammar schools." The cartoon sheet has a publication measurement written in pencil on it.
