DescriptionA color poster featuring an illustrated head and shoulders portrait of a uniformed soldier, head facing forward, holding a rifle with bayonet. The artist's facsimile signature is along the bottom of the illustration: SCHLAIKJER 1944. White text at the top of the image, and white text on a red background below the image, reads: The battle-wise / Infantryman . . / . . is CAREFUL / of what he says or writes. Small black text printed along the bottom edge of the poster reads: W.D., A.G.O. "Infantryman" Security Poster. Additional copies may be requisitioned as prescribed in AR 310-200, 1 May 1943, as changed by Changes No. 2, 15 September 1943.
