DescriptionA small ship model of a patrol torpedo (PT) type boat. The boat is made of stained wood and features several guns, a nautical flag at the bow, and an American flag at the stern. "PT-9" is marked on both sides at the bow.

The model is stored inside a plastic container housed within a cardboard box.
Label TextThis model is of a Patrol Torpedo (PT) boat used by the United States Navy during World War II. This model was presented to President Roosevelt by Roy Davy, Vice President of the Milton Bradley Company of Springfield, Massachusetts, in April 1941.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 25, 1942. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
