DescriptionA mahogany card catalog file cabinet. The cabinet has six drawer with metal pulls. Four of the drawers also have paper labels -- three typed and one handwritten -- that read "A to G" (upper left), "Cards for / books taken / from d… / Library" (upper right), "H to P" (center left), and "Q to Z" (lower left). A maker's label is adhered to the top center of the front: Globe Wernicke / CINCINNATI. The cabinet sits on a mahogany stand.
Label TextThis cabinet once held the catalog cards for the books stored in FDR's Study. It is on display in FDR'S PRIVATE STUDY in the Permanent Exhibit.
