It shows a group of men, women with babies, and children in the foreground on park benches with the show taking place at the right. It is titled and signed by the artist in pencil below the image: Family Circle / Don Freeman. Printed in the lower left corner below the image: FEDERAL ART PROJECT / NYC WPA. The number "3" is written in pencil in the lower right corner. A WPA Federal Art Project label is adhered on the reverse and includes, amongst other things, the project number (265-6900 853). Also on the reverse, written in pencil: WPA 39.086.
