Descriptiona) A small pewter case for holding a deck of cards. On one side of the case is a diamond-shaped piece of brass mounted on the pewter. Superimposed on the brass is a small, silver-colored medallion that features a bas relief right-facing profile image of FDR's head encircled by text that reads: • PRESIDENT • FRANKLIN • D • ROOSEVELT • / HYDE • PARK • N•Y•. In the lower right corner are the engraved initials: S•I•R. The manufacturer's mark is stamped into the lower right corner of the back side of the case: VAL-KILL.

b) A deck of 52 cards decorated in the Wedgwood style. The deck of cards is stored inside the pewter card case (a).
