DescriptionA Spanish language poster promoting inter-American solidarity during World War II. At the center of the poster is a large color photographic image of two uniformed gunners, each manning a gun inside a B-24 Liberator bomber. Spanish text in black on yellow bands above and below the image reads: "UN 'LIBERATOR' EN ACCIÓN / Los artilleros de un 'Liberator' de los Estados Unidos en misión de bombardeo disparan contra los aviones enemigos."

Printed in small text in the lower right corner of the poster: "Publicado por el Coordinador de Asuntos Interamericanos, Wáshington, E. U. A."
Label TextPresident Roosevelt created the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs during World War II to counter Italian and German propaganda in Latin America and promote political, economic, and cultural ties with the United States. He appointed Nelson Rockefeller as the Coordinator.
