DescriptionAn original black and white cartoon featuring Franklin D. Roosevelt's Scottish terrier dog, Fala. The cartoon is of an outdoor scene with Fala standing on the lawn of the White House next to a sign reading "JOIN THE WAGS." He is addressing a group of five male dogs lined up in front of him whose attention is drawn to three female dogs on the other side of the White House fence. The artist's signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: ALAN FOSTER. The caption is shown twice below the cartoon - once typed on a slip of paper once adhered (and now separate) and once handwritten in pencil: "Now men -- no yoo-hooing!" The cartoon sheet has several publication notes written in pencil including the number "6304".
