DescriptionA patriotic watch fob with a round campaign button, possibly from the 1936 campaign. The stamped metal fob, with a bronze patina on the front, consists of symbolic images including an eagle, the American flag, the U.S. Capitol building, and the White House. Inserted into the center of the fob is a white Bastian Brothers ca. 1936 FDR campaign button featuring a black halftone portrait of FDR encircled by black text that reads: “FOR PRESIDENT / FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT.” The fob hangs from a brown leather strap with a metal buckle.
