DescriptionA simple non-adjustable footrest. The footrest is made of two perpendicularly fixed wooden boards finished with a dark, reddish lacquer. When in use, the footrest is tilted sideways to rest an angle so the feet can be placed on the sloping board. When not in use, the footrest can be returned to an upright perpendicular position, to rest flat on the horizonal piece, and can be moved by using the oval handhold cutout at the top of the vertical piece.
Label TextThis footrest was made for Franklin D. Roosevelt's use in his private study in the FDR Library by the Library's carpentry shop.
