DescriptionA single bookend featuring a bronze sculpture of Franklin D. Roosevelt with children. FDR is shown seated in a chair, looking upwards, with his right hand outstretched and palm facing up. He is flanked by two boys and a girl standing slightly behind him. The smaller of the two boys is seen with a crutch (possibly to signify polio). The flat underside of the bookend is lined with green felt.
The sculpture sits unattached on a walnut wood base that was fabricated for display purposes and is not original to the piece.
