DescriptionA silver plated stein with handle. On one side of the stein is a monogram within an oval: FDR. Inscribed in an oval on the other side is a date: January / 30th / 1944. There are a number of hallmark stamps on the underside of the stein.
Label TextThis stein was presented to FDR as a birthday gift by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sherwood in January 1944. Playwright Robert Sherwood worked as a speechwriter for President Roosevelt. It is on display in FDR'S PRIVATE STUDY in the Permanent Exhibit.
