DescriptionA wooden calendar holder with six double-sided calendar cards for the year 1945. An inscription is carved on the underside of the holder: Made in the White House Carpenter Shop / by C. H. Shepherd and I. M. Avery. The maker of the calendar cards is printed on the bottom of each card: National Blank Book Co., Holyoke, MA.
Label TextFDR kept this calendar holder on his Oval Office desk. This object is on display in the FDR’S OVAL OFFICE DESK exhibit in the Museum’s APRIL 12, 1945 gallery. The calendar cards are facsimiles of the originals.Additional Details
