DescriptionA wooden model of the whaleback, ALEXANDER MCDOUGALL. The ship has a brown and red hull and white superstructure. At the bow is an observation structure with a red and brown mast and a loose anchor on a metal chain. At the stern is a quarterdeck with a smoke stack, a mast, and two lifeboats. The center of the ship has an exposed section showing the storage of coal, with nine other covered sections stretched out over the deck.
